Dinan reported 484HP at the crank for Non-ZCP.

Hahaha! I'm not even on your scale (and I'm not a teenager)! Most people say I look at least 10 years younger than I am but I'd still barely fit on your scale!

You're only as old as what you drive!

I've never been down under, but based on my experience in the UK and Europe, I'd hazard a guess that your vehicles tend to be smaller than ours. We may even have wider roads, but that also depends on where you live in the US. Here in the US, an M3/M4slook pretty small when compared side-by-side with a full-size SUV. It's all relative, but I have no problem placing my M4 on the road.

The m2 is like a glorified Civic. The interior is cheap like the Benz CLA.

M2 is great for the $$, and the short wheel base makes turn in alittle sharper,
But overall m3/4 is the better car!

I had the opportunity to test the M2, loved it but....You are correct, interior felt cheap & lacking.

I open the door to the M2 and saw that it uses the same seats as my 328d touring. I couldn't help but to shake my head and think to myself why they didn't ever bother making it sportier. The matte cf trim felt like it was a vinyl wrap too.

I have both!!!

I'm one lucky bastard that have both! I just replaced my '10 135i DD with a '17 M2. I'm still going through the break-in period, so I have not been able to truly explore what the M2 is capable of doing.

I do not understand all the postings from people saying that the M2 is the way to go. For me, the M3/4 are in a totally different level than the M2. BMW knew exactly where to position the M2. It will bring new blood into the "M" side of the business. Once new buyers taste and appreciate the superior handling of an "M" car, they will be hooked for life...

This is the way to go! Those rear wheel arches look so much more pronounced on the M2!

Nah... I'd keep mine. I think it's the perfect balance between power and balance. And it's a comfy DD. Still getting used to the small gas tank tho...

No.

Love the M2 but they are not in the same league even if the magazine lap times are similar.

Awesome. Love to hear your thoughts on how they compare in terms of driving.

A fair comparison would be to the M3 arches

Lucky bastard indeed. I quickly said nope but I still like the M2 and have mad respect for it. Thanks for your views and excellent side by side pics

True. I think his age grouping is based on a visual guess of the average age of the buyers. To me, his groupings look about right. I considered an m5 and concluded that it was not for me. Maybe in another 10 years I will want that. Likewise, I would have preferred the M2 when I was 10 years younger. At my age, the M2 strikes me as too spartan.

Fully aware of this. I was referring to the factory available MCCBs as indicated in my posts.
