Messaging with Shawn back and forth, I finally loaded the software to another laptop (work laptop had firewall, so it wouldn't connect). I went code crazy all morning. Coded the following:
- Euro MDM
- Rear Fog Light - thanks to tom @ eas
- Remove legal warning on nav screen
- Remove seatbelt warning
- DVDinMotion
- A/C memory
- Unlock doors at engine shut-off
- Brake Force Flashing

Refer to the VO coding document for the anti-dazzle or Euro LED headlight. U.S. DOT didn't approve BMW's anti-dazzle technology so you must change the vehicle order (VO). Follow each step carefully.

Once your software is installed, you'll just need these 2 documents attached. If you follow these 3 simple rules, you will not do any damage to your car:

Never click on the "Code Default Values" button
Backup (Read and Save) FA, SVT, and CAFD files before you start
Only code the CAFD files (green circle)

Euro MDM parameter under DSC Module:
C_Laenderkennung => ECE
CTpmsMarket => EU
CPrewarnEnable => enable
CPrewarnIgnition => enable
CalLrPDevMax => 50kpa
CPInitRangeMax => 80kpa
UiaSetLevelPc => 20%
UiwSetLevelPc => 15%

Is all of this information still relevant and applicable to a 2015 F80? I'd like to code out EDC along with a few other things and am perfectly happy learning how to do it myself.

Shawn, thanks for sending over the links!

I've coded before and had no issues, but now I'm running in to something I haven't seen before, and there's hardly anything online about what would cause it.

My 2016 M4 was just flashed by the dealership to the latest i-Step 19_11_538 (verified by exporting a profile and looking inside the XML file). 19_11_538 is in the PSdZData_Lite package and I'm selecting it in E-sys, which I have no issues running, and can see everything I should be able to see.

When activating FA, it just goes around and around and never actually activates, so I can't FDL code. The only thing I've found online that apparently might cause it is a mismatched i-Step version, but that's not the case, I have the latest and the latest is in the package.

Any ideas?

Try same thing, with e-Sys Direct and no E-Sys Launcher. Can you activate FA then?
