I installed the V1 springs on the front of my base M3 (non ZCP, non adaptive). Its been said the non-adaptive suspension is valved like SPORT for those of you with adaptive. I have the stock MP4S tires on 19"437 wheels and 12mm spacers all around. Tires are correctly inflated.
On smooth roads, the ride is great. less lift/roll through the turns, feels more planted. Dampening remains unchanged. I haven't had any scraping issues with getting up driveways or other inclines as the drop is pretty minimal. On bumpy roads (I'm in Canada so we are dealing with all the potholes from the winter) its really shit to be quite honest. The reduced suspension travel means the shock bottoms out on bumps that it normally wouldn't be all that bad on. Its a very abrupt/jarring ride when you hit potholes - you hear and feel through the entire chassis. To be clear, its not a bouncy ride, just very unforgiving there is a sudden gradient change. I find myself now bracing for impact whenever I see potholes - kind of takes the fun out going for a ride. I actually wasn't going to lower the car after doing extensive research last year. Everything I read (regardless of what setup you choose to go with) leads to a decrease in comfort. The Eibach V1 was going to be the "minimal impact" solution so I decided to try it out anyways. I'm probably going to bite the bullet and go back to the stock springs and not look at the front end of my car from the side anymore, LOL. I appreciate the car is a sports car but the stock ride quality is about as firm as I am willing to deal with for a daily. |

Eibach V1
Just installed Eibach V1 and absolutely love the drop and as you mentioned the ride quality is to me far superior than stock. Not as stiff but a much nicer ride. Drop is how it should have been from the factory. All of you guys that chimed in on the V1 were my inspiration to get them after much agonizing. Thank you all for your input. Very happy. I'll post up pictures soon.

Subscribed.
So it seems V1's on non-comp pack cars ride very similar to OEM. Can anyone confirm if it rides slightly softer or slightly more firm than non-zcp OEM setup? |

Glad I found this, I was thinking I was going to get the EMD springs and install only the fronts but I think that drop is a little over 1". It seems like people are happy with the euro eibachs on the front only giving just under a 1" drop,

for those of you that have installed the v2's, how many days did it take for your springs to settle all the way? I am on day 4 and have a 2 finger gap in the front on 666 wheels with stock tire size. should i expect it to settle a bit more?

These spring should be standard on M cars, the ride is much better compared to factory springs. Side note, are you using spacers on your ride? |

Looks perfect! You installed both front and rear or just front?
