New topic - I just got the new GoPro Hero 10 ... and just in case anyone is trying to run the set up and it hangs on the WiFi part, let me save a lot of headaches: turn off VPN.

Fecking nuts that GoPro doesn't make that a standard warning - anybody with Google Fi and/or Google One will for sure have VPN on automagically out-of-the-box, not to mention anyone with any type of corporate network overlays, and then just plain ole people who've decided to run a VPN. Took me hanging across 3 devices before I looked into the logs and figured it out.

How did they not run into this?
