for hight horsepower application over 700whp stg2 is working better than stg3 on drag racing, no difference roll 60 to 130mph between stg2 and stg3

What did you settle on for shift points? I'm in the same situation - Stg3 holds gears far too long for 75-90% of my driving, but would like Stg2 to hold the gears a little longer than the OTS shiftmap configuration. Something like a Stg2.5 would probably be perfect for my setup.

Hey guys, is anyone experiencing this weird occurrence that I have going on my F80? I have about 73k kms on the car and the DCT fluid was replaced with all the filters at about 60k kms with genuine BMW DCTF1+. We used ISTA when the car was stone cold to do the oil rebalancing procedure. I previously flashed Thor GTS and now have done XHP stage 3. It has worked flawlessly for the past 2 months or so until now, when I do a upshift at 3rd gear to 4th gear on high rpm shifts, it occasionally does a jerk whereby the revs goes up a few hundred rpms in neutral during the shift then drops when it goes into the 4th gear. Could this be clutch slip? Or perhaps i just need to do clutch adaptations reset?
The gearbox isnt underfilled with DCT fluid because i have done the ISTA oil rebalancing procedure again when the car was fully cold and couldnt get anymore fluid into the fill plug. I am running the BM3 OTS e30 Stage 2 map running on approximately e40 fuel. |

I heard there was a specific sequence that you have to follow to make sure the DCT is serviced properly. Its similar to the VAG DSGs as well

Yes I did that when doing the ISTA rebalancing procedure. I followed the sequence whereby have to hold revs at 2000rpm for 1 minute and then add the DCT fluid till it starts dripping out from the fill plug. All this was done when the gearbox temp was between 20 to 30 degrees celsius

Set the phone to airplane mode. Plug in the enet cable via an adapter. Ignition on. You should see an ethernet option in settings listed under WI-FI. From there it should connect and you can re-enable wifi etc to login or download maps. Sometimes it will fail first try but work the second.

Has anyone installed this software in conjunction with an upgraded aftermarket DCT clutch, which as I understand requires a "relearning process" to be undertaken.
Curious to know if any additional complexities arise. I haven't studied this product yet, so forgive me for asking, but does the software allow you to adjust pressure line?

Anybody have any issues removing a previous trans tuning software in order to add XPH? Currently flashed with THOR for the TCU and Ecutek on the ECU side.
THOR is a fine product but I'm about to upgrade clutches and will want to take advantage of maximized line pressure.

The app is very finnicky via ENET, so I strongly recommend using other connection methods like the MHD wireless dongle. I've had no issues so far with a DCAN cable other than the flash operation taking a bit longer. |

Planning to go VTT GCs on a E40 custom tune by either Jordan or F80Paul. Would the XHP Stage 3 suffice for the stock clutches to hold that torque and power?

It's not the clutch that is the weak point. It's the flywheel. And there no aftermarket flywheel substitutes. Pertaining to DCT only.

Has anyone tried flashing with an iPhone or PC using Enet recently? I keep getting an error with flashing error. I've had a few back and forths with the XHP staff and they just concluded wait for the update and see if that works... Seems a bit of an odd response as its been three weeks since I've bought it and I still can't use it.
