Thanks Rooz. How are you enjoying your TB M3? Your color looks fantastic! I might have a shot of yours too.

Loved it,the car was just amazing and the trip was a true blast, looks like yours was too. Now is the long wait until I see the car again though

And yeah, if you have any pics, would love to see them

Noticed our plates are in sequence - 87, 88, 89. And MZ is my initial so my friends thought BMW personalizes the plates that way.

Genius says my car was picked up in Bremerhaven on 8/3 (I dropped it off in Frankfurt 7/21). It is on "Brazilia Highway" and is expected at VPC (Georgia) on 8/18. My car is affected by the rear diff. recall, but the Genius did not have any insight on whether the car was already repaired or if it will be repaired at VPC.

Standing by....

Mine will arrive at Port Hueneme on 8/19, just about the same arrival time as yours, considering we picked them up on the same day. But you had much longer time driving your car, as mine spent more time on the boat. So you win

Bet you can't wait to get her back. What do the powers-to-be say about when you get your M3. I assume it is affected by the rear diff issue.

This is what my defective differential looks like (photo taken at German BMW dealership). If only I had known when I was getting my 1200 mile service, I'd have asked the mechanic to throw a new diff in my ride!

With that much discussions on the delivery hold, this is the 1st showing of the defected part.

Yeah, my car is affected. My CA is optimistic the delivery will not be too much delayed, given the replacement delivery schedule and ED priority. I hope he is right. The wait is killing me.

BMWNA POC says my work order was opened on 8/19 and parts were ordered but are not in yet. Once the parts are shipped it can take as long as FIVE days to get there!!

That is progress at least. Mine got to the port on 8/19, but still not scanned into VPC yet.

Today the Genius said that the trucking company signed for my car on 8/26 at VPC (Brunswick) but has not picked it up yet. He said that it should be headed to Cincy by end of this week or middle of next week at the latest. I know, just words, but am getting stoked. Although the rear diff was ordered for it, the work was not completed at VPC. My M's home (detached 2.5 car garage) is just about finished with just the four post lift to be installed.

Your car looks stunning . I was really thinking Yas Marina Blue would be the only color to choose for an m3 but im really liking your Silverstone. Now how about adding some interior pics ?
Congratulations on your new car and on the ED.
By the way thanks for sharing all of your amazing pictures

Thanks! YMB is bold and it looks cool, but I guess I'm was not bold enough to pick it. I have really warmed up to SSII - it was a process. The more I saw it in person in different light, the more I liked it. Here are a couple more interior pix...

Wow, it's amazing how closely your pics resemble my Golden Brown interior. I debated back and forth for some time...both great colors.
