What a beautiful dog! Very sorry to hear about him passing ... I used to be very close to a Siberian named Nookie who was 11 when he passed as well. They're awesome dogs with unique personalities. Your plates are a great way to honor him!

what is everyone doing with their license plates for states that require front plates
so as the title says, i'm gonna be taking delivery soon for my m4 and I'm wondering what people who live in states that require front plates are doing if they dont want to drill holes in the bumper. I live in NY and i think the front plate will look really ugly where they put it but i dont wanna risk getting tickets for not having it on, i know i can us the tow hook, is there any other inexpensive options to the us millworks plate holder? i would get the pedal haus one but they said it might interfere with the pdc sensors please help?

The cosmetic forum has a discussion about this, some here have had good success with the electric hiding plates. I've just been going without a front plate, though, at least until I run into problems, but the hiding plates require minimum cutting of just ABS and looks better than tow mount plates IMO.

plenty of posts about this.
seems there are 4 options 1. no plate 2. tow hook mount 3. cut the bumper and tuck it in there 4. cut the bumper and use a motorized mount to hide it away

i just dont put the back plate on..leave the dealer plates so basically cops think car is still new and the sticker on the front windshield suffices

I'm in Chicago, and I just don't bother putting on a front plate at all. I've gotten one ticket in about 5 years for it, $50. |

As long as you drive sensibly and dont have "look at me" type of mods, most cops wont pull you over for just no front plate. Ive been w/o one for about 5 yrs in california, and havnt had any problems

If you don't like the ricer look of the tow hook mount, you might be want to look into the Skene Design mount. There are 2 small screws involved, but they go under the bumper, so when you remove the bracket you will never see the holes (unless you are on your back on the ground looking up). I used one on my E92 when I first got it, but after a year or so just removed the whole thing because I didn't want a front plate. For the F82, I just skipped the whole front plate thing.

Texas requires them. And Hellz no I don't have one up front. Ill take the ticket all day, every day.
More than anything, it gives the police a reason to pull you over if they are looking for one. I try to not be an ass on the roads and minimize my exposure. I do assume Ill get pulled over in the next few years but if you have insurance and up to date registration only the prickiest of cops would ticket you. Even then most judges would waive the ticket if you claim ignorance. No one is drilling holes in my car.
