Woohoo - that is great news Rooz! I canx'd my PCD as I have other travel plans competing. Will definitely do this the next time. Have a blast and give us a report!!

P.S. My car is scheduled to be at my dealership on 9/13, but I am having a few things done to it (repair 2 scratched rims , SS pedals/clear bra installed, and a few other things). So, I won't be seeing it for a while.

She's back to Cincinnati (North Cincy BMW) and apparently made a friend on the way back. My CA sent this shot...

These two shared the ride from Baltimore (mine is on the left). On the to-do list before I can take delivery: I had the BMW body shop correct some minor scratches on the front bumper (inflicted in DE on my watch, but I was not aware of it ) and they did a terrific job of matching color and laying down some quality paint (I had heard SSII was tuff to match). My two passenger side 666s get their minor goobers (self-inflicted and I do remember when I did this ) fixed today. SS pedals going in too. Then, hopefully tomorrow my clear bra (3M) goes on. Doing front bumper, full hood, half front fenders, and extending the factory protection on the leading edges of the rear haunches. For those keeping track, it was 8 weeks from drop-off in Frankfurt to delivery at my dealership and my diff is included in the recall (it has not been replaced yet). I consider myself VERY lucky to have been able to take my M from the Welt for our journey. I am disappointed in the way BMW handled this issue when a logical/reasonable solution was available and would have saved the day. Let's just say I feel like I have dodged a bullet!

Hope to get a call to pick it up on Thursday as her cocoon is now ready (top bunk mate: this is what a mid-size performance vehicle looked like 47 years ago) ...

The most difficult few days to go.

I got mine on Sunday afternoon, and has been spending all my free time in the garage with mods and coding.

DE U --

The epoxy floors on your garage look stunning.

I just built a 2.5 car detached and am considering how to finish the concrete floors -- would be quite pleased to replicate what you have.

Do you know what product(s) were used or did you inherit that garage as it is?

thanks

Thanks. I had the floor done professionally last year using a company recommended to me by a good friend that had used them more than once. They are Premier Garage.

http://www.premiergarage.com/

They have franchises all over. They are not cheap, but they are good. My garage concrete floor was not in good shape due to some short cuts that were done in 2003 when the garage was built. PG did an awesome job of prepping the concrete and getting down an excellent finish. Most folks put flakes down but I wanted my floor to look more like a painted floor like the old work shops so they had to really make it look good - b/c flakes hide imperfections. I did put some sand in for anti-slip. I am very pleased with it. Here is a shot just after completion (it's actually considerably shinier now since the photo was taken below last fall)...
