Send me some resonated pipes and I'll do another video

Let's just all be honest. They all sound like ass. Literally short from converting to single turbo with an up pipe/dump pipe it's just a terrible sounding motor. I was so hyped about this equal length thing as in theory it makes sense... two banks of 3 cylinders competing with each other instead of 1 inline six... I heard my first EL in person and sounds just as sh**ty as all of our f82s. Just the way it is.

-Sincerely someone who has now had 6 different exhaust configs chasing away that terrible wot sound.

I think a twin-turbo BMW can sound good, like a good number of N54's sound pretty good in my opinion. However I think the issue is the downpipe shape with the S55 is just unequal from the get-go, and I don't know if anyone has even considered equal length downpipes/ turbo manifolds if that's even possible.

Ideally, I'd get the AA midpipe for my stock muffler, but I'd really like just one good video on the sound. Sadly filming on an iPhone is not going to pick up the full range of noise like I'd hear in person.

This setup might be the best sounding F8x, even rivaling the single turbo cars:

Here is a video of my TGM and stock DP setup. Considering tuning my car just to remove the burbles first two parts are efficient to avoid burbles and two last ones are in sport.

I couldn't agree more, that active equal length setup with the 3 mufflers is the best sounding i have heard 👍👍👍

Wow that sounds clean for being catless, I guess my MPE just adds rasp because it's titanium

Who wants to buy a V2 MPE?

I can only find GOOD clips of cars with downpipes/the resonated midpipe. Cant find any decent, “not recorded with a potato” videos with stock muffler/stock downpipes.
Here's a decent one on an M2c, it's the non-res version, stock everything else except for the tips

link to revving: https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...1696302&page=6

and a full sound clip from an action camara:

You know whats funny? I've left several messages to AA offering to buy their MP so I can upload clips. Left em emails, IG messages, even went through a popular dealer. Nothing.

I have VRSF downpipes, AA midpipes, and Remus axleback which argueably is one of the more popular setups.

So far, not a single setup with a similar setup has uploaded any clips.

I don't want to be a test mule anymore.

I'll just wait until someone releases a video.

I don't know why people are saying we don't answer our emails, especially on a new product ? What is the benefit of not responding, we are in the business of selling our products and not trying to support it makes no sense. So please don't assume we are ignoring people, there must be an issue with the delivery of the email, so please either try info@activeautowerke.com, or go to our website under contact and there are 3 other emails for sales people or call us (305)233-9300. We do answer M-F 9am to 6pm.
Lies.

No just no man. I've sent several emails, left messages plugging my IG and my intentions.

Zero responses. Not sure if anybody even LOOKED at them.

Was the EL you heard the AA midpipe, TGM exhaust, or some other EL setup? And was it with stock catback?

Lies ??? Did you pick up the phone and call during business hours as I stated ? Did you do a direct email to one of the people listed on our contact page ? I personally answer a lot of calls daily and really get upset when people say they can't get us. Don't rely on Instagram, Facebook or the general email, just email to a specific person or call. Please PM us with your phone # and we will call you since you can't seem to get us. That goes for everyone else who seems to have an issue with contacting us, PM us your # and we will call you.

I can vouch for this. I was previously having issues reaching you guys - eventually I just called during business hours and instantly got ahold of someone with no wait time. They even followed up over email 15 minutes after we ended the call.

Looking forward to receiving my midpipe!

I see you're in CT as well. If you'd be interested I'd like to hear the Equal Length in person, social distanced of course. Before pulling the trigger on buying it.
