There was a thread on this when the F8X first came out. Let me see if I can find it. If I remember correctly, the difference wasn't signficant.

They are heavy, but the SUV will smoke the Crown Victoria; the Charger will smoke the SUV. In addition to the added bracing and police package equipment, the back of the SUV is full of servers in a cage. There's barely enough room back there to put a war bag and a box of flares.

Nope! Not even the new Charger that the department just started pushing out to the stations is that fast. The BMW, Kawi and Harley bikes aren't fast enough to catch a modern sportbike either.
