I wonder if you have to finance through BMWFS to get this credit.

The innovation credit applied to our M3 last month so I don't see why it won't apply to ordered M3 taking delivery this month. We also got the innovations credit although we financed through PNC, so I don't think you need to finance through bow to get this $1000. What amazes me is how bmw is having difficulty keeping up with demand on this car, especially with the black 19 wheels delay and cfrp delay, yet they are throwing $1000 incentive for this car!

Thanks BurnMeWallet. Looks like I need to provide my dealer with a little education.
The credits are surprising what with the limited production slots available. At least in DC when I ordered a few months ago. |

Does this credit come from BMW Financial Services - so the dealer does not lose profit on the car sale and will actually support using the Holiday Credit? |

Unlikely that you'll be able to stack them. Him locking you in meant that you'd be entitled to the innovation credit beyond the expiration date. But generally, these things "can't be combined with other offers"

It would be really nice if someone who can truly confirm whether or not you have to finance through BMW to get this incentive. It seems some folks have pulled it off where their CA honored the Discount without doing BMW financing and other have said the opposite.
My understanding is their are folks on this forum who either know someone or are someone who can answer this questions for BMW with absolute certainty. It would be great if someone would answer this question, rather than the countless folks who speculate or give an opinionated statement regarding. |

Yeh I have an order that probably won't get here til sometime in December.
I assume my innovations credit that I had my CA apply will no longer be valid, but I imagine he will honor the discount anyhow. With this holiday credit expiring November 31st, however, I'll likely miss out unless they do a $1500 credit in December or something. How should I proceed with getting the most from these credits? |

The innovations credit was originally due to expire on the last day of Sept, but then extended through October. Considering that this incentive is called a "holiday credit", my money is on this credit being extended through December.
