Tried to do a search as there are MANY downpipes threads, but why are SSR and VRSF not being compared at all?

They're nearly the same price (SSR is 100 dollars more) but SSR is made in the USA.

VRSF is very popular, but their customer service doesn't sound very promising.

I've heard nothing but good things regarding VRSF downpipes (went with a different brand on my N55) but also heard good things about SSR.

Anybody care to chime in?

Had used VRSF on my 2015 M4. Very satisfied with them so I currently have them on our M3. Just installed CTS Turbo on our M4 and very satisfied with them also. You should look at the CTS also. I might even like them better than VRSF. Got a great deal from Jeff@TopGearSolutions.

Absolutely nothing wrong with VRSF CS..... Tiago has tried hard to satisfy the forum members for years.

Notice any difference at all between the two?

Would you go with any one of them for a particular reason?

What makes you "like them more than VRSF?" And have you had VRSF before?

Note: not challenging, just curious.

I noticed that a well known vendor on the forums has removed VRSF from their product line, hence why i'm asking these questions.

That's because the EPA is cracking down on companies selling catless downpipes and is giving out HUGE fines. Flowmaster got hit with a $270k fine, Magnaflow had a $600k fine, performance diesel had a $1.1m fine, and that diesel brothers show on TV got hit with $850k in fines

I get it, but if they advertise as "off-road" and "not street legal," how can the EPA enforce this?

The company that has stopped selling said VRSF hardware was not even in California, where they go crazy about emissions.

The EPA is trying to put a stop to catless downpipes on off-road vehicles too so that little disclaimer doesn't mean anything anymore unfortunately. This is a nationwide initiative by the EPA so it doesn't matter if the company is in California or not
