BM3 OTS Boost Pressures?¿?

Hello, the thing is that we bought an M4 .. we saw that it had downpipes ..

we mounted some BMC filters and put the stage 2 OTS ..

we did some measurements and towards 100-200 in 6.3seconds .. something was not normal !!

Total we look at the engine and it has pure turbos stage 2 HF turbos mounted

Today we will install map 2H and 2H E30 ..Can you tell me what pressure they work at and the estimated power?

we would not like to install custom tune Thank you very much

I'd like to know the correct answer ?

you ever dyno'd it? whats it run like on that OTS map? been thinking of going that route my self

I was waiting to tune with Carey Jordan on the dyno . Literally just Put the turbos in a few miles ago . Definitely feel a huge improvement .

No OTS map should be targeting 30psi. You're either looking at an atmospheric value or with the new turbos your WG voltage is off enough to cause some overboost. (No codes?)

From what I've seen most bm3 ots maps are in the 21-23 range looking at logs. Heat and wgdc definitely plays a role.

In the BM3 Map Switching video (0:30 to 1:00) Halim says his "Map3 is running 26PSI which is slightly higher than Map2 the E30 Stage2" (2H assumed since Halim runs hybrid turbos). His "balls out map 4" is 32PSI+WMI (he says 23 but vid notes say 32).

This sort-of implies that OTS Stg2 targets somewhere between 20-24PSI (depending on fuel?). I've also read that OTS tunes taper the boost down 1-2PSI at the top RPM range. I'm not sure if this taper is incorrect, or if it is correct and it helps balance power output, avoids a boost spike, etc. I've only been playing with BM3/BPM for the last 2 years, no custom tuning yet.

I've logged a few passes in both 3rd and 4th gear
I'll get back with PTF 's response .

My bm3 changed from dials to numbers only on update . I've set it back and seems like the higher numbers were boost spikes? I'm averaging 23-24psi from the 2H map. Car pulls hard!!

I found a proper dyno graph with logs of 93o Stage2 on stock turbos. Floored it shows 22.44PSI target, and is pushing 22.22PSI actual. Cut/paste the link below to see what Tony@VTT posted as the "baseline run". I can confirm that my stock M3 did 475HP with BM3 93o Stg2 on Kies dynapack, and Tony's baseline run looks similar.

How much psi is possible run on 93 ron pure turbos stage 2 hf? Now ots 2h 93 ron i am runnig 24psi, i want 28-30psi is possible?

It's pretty common for almost any OTS tune on most platforms (stock turbos). It's essentially heat management (knock management), on stock turbos or smaller turbos typically tuning them pushes them past their efficiency range a bit at very high RPM (turbo has to spin VERY fast). When this happens the air gets really hot which starts to knock, tuning this town a bit keeps it safely below knock threshold.
