pop sound every time when releasing parking brake

Hi Guys,

I'm getting a popping sound every time I release the parking brake. Almost feels like something is not fully released to allow the car to move.

Has this happened to anyone before?

Thanks,
Steve

Can you ask someone to stand by the wheel when you release the brake? Is it coming from the caliper or somewhere else?

I think the parking brake (brake shoes) might be not be aligned or centered and sticking or binding to the inner rotor drum. I'm going to take off the rotors, check it out and report back.
