Light decolorization of the CCB calipers
I noticed while cleaning my wheels that there is some decolorization on all four of my CCB calipers (see the image). The dealer thinks that it might have to do with the high temperature but I don’t buy this. I don’t race with this car and I don’t use wheel cleaner products.
This is a F82 from November 2015. Anyone else had the same issue? I saw on another thread how someone had their calipers refinished and they looked amazing and does anybody know if a BMW dealer can have them refinished like this? |

I went to my dealer and they told me that they are not allowed to repaint the calipers and instead gave me a quote of about 2.500 euro to have them replaced. The total quote was 5000 euro because I have to replace my front bumper and have it repaint, also a small dent in the door and my right front wheel has small curb damage.
I thanked them nicely but I am going to ask a quote on a reputable body shop here nearby. If someone knows the paint code for the CCB calipers that would be awesome! |
