Having said that, I assume most of them were ore built and specced by BMW, as my brand new car in October 2018 has a factory build datebook of November 2017 lol.

Also M3 CS deals are popping up all over now...minimum of $10k off MSRP starting point it appears is typical. Momentum BMW in TX has four of them with asking prices at MSRP - $10,004 for example.

There’s also that big price premium BMW NA is charging for the M4cs over the M3cs. At $5000 USD (+4.9%), it is quite significant.
As a comparison, BMW Canada is only charging $2250 USD (+2.6%, $3000CAD) more for the M4cs over the M3cs. It's quite a difference which makes for a strong case for the M3cs.

Yep. And don't forget that hideous rear deck wing that looks like it is straight out of the original fast and furious movie. I was thinking about an M4CS until I saw that rear wing and those interior door panels. Those two things turned me off.

I've yet to see 1 M4CS in a dealership, they are all M3CSs. I much prefer the M3 proportions BUTTT if I bought a CS model it would probably be the M4 just for the OLEDs.

The M4cs comes with the same style Gurney flap as the M3cs (look at the picture in my signature). I have to assume you got confused by a dealer that added the M-Performance wing to an M4cs.

I now think the M4cs’ more Spartan interior is part of the appeal. I was a bit turned off by it in the beginning when the M4cs was launched back in 2017, but it has now really grown on me after living with it. The reduced sound deadening from the door cards and the reduced weight contribute to the enhanced driving experience.

M3CS imho only true track focused car with light, daily, 4 door practicality. M4CS is great but I reserve 2 doors for my R8 or maybe new facelifted huracan. I’m glad bmw came out with a limited production M3. Hopefully it continues.

They kept the M3 a bit too luxury in my opinion. Too much leather, basically an identical car inside to a comp, but without an armrest and dual zone climate.

The M3CS is only missing a manual transmission I would have traded my M3 comp for a M3 CS if they offered it in MT. I do not discredit DCT as it’s an awesome transmission but for me I need the “man pedal” I think people love the aggressive look of the hips on the m3 in general. The practicality of four doors is subjective to each. Personally they made the M3 look much more aggressive than the 3 series. Being the CS models I believe they should have the same interior and exterior parts. Last edited by 4DRS55; 01-28-2019 at 02:41 PM.. |

Local dealer had an M4CS with the big wing. Think it was a $4000 + option..

I have an off topic question regarding my Alpine White MS CS. Why is there an "individual" plaque on the driver side wheel well under the hood. I thought individual tags were reserved for individual colors or rare options or something like that. Im new to F80 so sorry if dumb question.

I think the M3cs is more appealing to me because arguably it’s the best performing sedan on the planet at any price. The M4cs is heck of a car but at the price point there are just too many options. I’d rather have a GT4, Carrera T, modified Grand Sport or now a GT500.

Hmm. Well that's cool I guess. So I'm assuming the two-tone seats are unique to the M3 CS. I've heard some guys complain they don't like them but I sure do. Especially with alpine white exterior.

The M3cs basically borrowed the interior from the 30-Jahre edition M3. The CS seats are however unique because they added the ///M tri-colours on the headrests instead of the 30-Jahre logo and have the black M3 insignia instead of the silver ones.
