I upgraded my wheels to 275/30R20 front and 295/30/R20.
No rubbing issues. M4 looks much better now!!!
Rubbing only occurs with M3s F80...

All you have to do is take a heat gun and warm up the plastic and push it forward a little bit to reshape it. You can buy a heat gun for like $8 at harbor freight if you don't have one. There is nothing back there to damage.

Just got 265 up front 295 in rear. All standard setup, no drop, no spacers, completely stock and..... the 265 ps4s just make it from rubbing on full lock in my F80. The 265 4s are appreciably wider then the pss. I am confident the 275 would have rubbed. In fact they are so close now I wonder if the wheel if fully locked and I hit a large bump it would rub. Not loosing sleep on this but it would be close. Very different then what is reported on the M4.

the only thing that would resolve it is back to OEM size. i'm confident at this point letting everyone know that if you're running ZCP OEM rims, and you upgrade an F80 to PS4S, do NOT go to 275 in front. let my $650 mistake be a lesson to everyone else. stick with 265s in the front

Thanks for the update. Looks like I'll stick with 265 up front when the time comes.

I ordered the 275 up front for the M3 thinking there would be no difference from the M4 (especially because I don't remember anyone making the distinction) and just an hour after the order I read this thread then quickly changed my order. Einscot thank you for saving me a 600+ mistake.

Just put 265/35/19s on my street set. The fronts are noticeably wider than the RE-71R.

Where are you rubbing on fender liner
if your front rim has an agro offset it will also attribute to it

You need to release more info in order for us to help. Is your 10inch wheel 15ET or less? if not, then you are rubbing your perch I assume? What are the offsets?

I have serious doubts you are rubbing a 265/35/19 on 10inch unless your ET is either too low (rubbing fender liners) or too high for KWCS (not low enough offset to clear) and you are rubbing on the kw cs 3way perch; the latter case which a spacer will rid that issue.

I guess a 10 inch wheel with a wide tire and KW CS 3 is very tricky if not impossible without rubbing issues in combination with KW CS. You need ET20 or lower to avoid rubbing on the inside... I had to use 3mm spacers with my 9.5 x 20 ET22 (Vorsteiner VFF102) and KW CS 3 when i installed PS4S in 265/30-20...

Do you guys notice way better dry grip even when the PS4S isn’t warmed up when comparing it to the PSS?

? I mounted 103's with p4s with 275/30/20 on 9.5. et 22 no rub or anything on the front whatsoever on my f80. Rear 305's on 10.5 34et requires a little rolling and dremeling. 40's are better.

Thanks spr, i believe that it works with stock suspension. But with a KW CS it's very close on the inside. If i put my wheels on without spacers it's just 3-4 mm away from the spring where a "finger" is the recommended space.

No worries. FYI, I don't have stock suspension. I'm on BMW HAS kit set to GTS height which is about 1 finger front and back. Look at my thread on the test fitment with the 275's I have a picture and have 1 finger from the rim/tire to the strut/spring.

I’m running the BMW M Performance suspension with a 19x9.5 ET17 w/ 265/35/19 MP4S and I’m rubbing on the outside ever so slightly mainly on driver side. Any idea what would cause driver side to rub but not passenger side? It sounds so bad when I hit a bump at the right angle. Also my inside clearance is really close (few mm), but my alignment shop said that isn’t my issue.

I believe the real difference in fitting 275's on an F80 is the front wheel width. 9" width is too narrow for a 275 anyway. I have met several F80 owners running 275/30/20 fronts on a 9.5-10" wide wheel without rubbing issues on the wheel well. Generally, if they have rubbing its too aggressive of an offset so its rubbing on the fender or not aggressive enough and rubbing on the perch.

From my own experience, I run 265/35/19 MP4s front on a 9.5" width ET20 dropped on KW V3s and I rub ever-so-slightly on the driver side wheel well only and only under near full left hand down lock... F80s do seem to have an ever so slight difference but seems to be isolated to certain instances. Two other local F80s run identical tires and offsets and don't have this problem. Plastics are not perfect... heating and slight molding can solve this issue easily or obviously running a different tire brand.

In a couple of months I'll be swapping to a 20" front set up and am considering a 275 front. I'll report back if I go that route.

My advice- Always speak with a reputable shop that has lots of experience dealing with wheel/tire combos (Supreme, AutoTalent, TAG) and then GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! If they work for you and help you then return the favor.
