Mine likes our F80, but she never says anything, just "braces" herself when I'm driving "briskly"...

I can't really say that I have this problem because my wife has a nearly identical 2018 M3 only with the Competition Package. She does think my 2016 M4 with the MPE is too loud, but only at cold start-up. For the record, so do I.

I feel sorry for those of you who made bad wife choices...

She knew I was a car guy when we met and has suffered through many, this one at least has all the creature comforts. But usually when we go out we take the MDX so she stays more comfortable. My daughter loves me driving aggressively so at least there's that. I'll probably pay for that one day when she starts driving...
Ha! How old is she ? Might want to drive daddy's toys later!

My son doesn't have the car bug.. he's 15.. and far more mature then me in ways. ( mom's side )

When we spoke about him getting a driver's license next year, I asked him if he wants to drive the M. ( not that I'd let him anyway..) His reply was ; No.., it's too much of a car for me to handle as a first time driver. According to him, Volvos are "safe" LOL.

The odds of a 15 year old kid saying that? My jaw dropped..

Then he hit me with, he wants to go to law school. Figures
That's this younger generations feelings about cars in general. Most just want to get from point A to B. My GF wants nothing to do with hi performance cars and driving. Her 3 boys are even worse. In there 20s and 30s. I have several cool rides on top of my M3CS and they could care less. At least she drives a pretty cool car though an Audi Q5 S line. . Although every $800 20 inch "S line" wheel is curb rashed 360° around lol. Fuk!! I just realized I'm dating the wrong woman. Thanks OP. Lol.

Strange....both my boys love the M2/M5. I let them drive them regularly, took them to M Teen School, M School and we do 4-5 HPDEs yearly. They couldn't be more into cars!

My oldest even remembers the E60 M5 and the "amazing" noise it made!

And don't worry my wife has curbed all of the M2s wheels!

Lol. That's cool. Yea there are a few still out there. But it used to be all boys/ teenagers were into cars. At least it seemed like it. Well fortunately my son loves cars. In fact he swung me towards Euro cars recently but he got the car bug from me. . He is 37 and today is his birthday. I am passing down my 2004 Mustang Cobra "Terminator". 32 valve 4 cam supercharged V8. 30k miles and I bought it new. It is pristine and I could not bare selling it to some shumk off the street that would probably daily it. And the best part is I still get to see it and drive it once in a while. I made that clear upfront.

Oh and for what's it's worth... the first time my GF rode in it and I got into some serious boost she hated that car too. Wouldn't even ride in it . That's when I learned not all girls like fast cars.

My wife drives a manual 997 and ridicules me for driving a "bummer" so I kind of have the opposite issue...

While taking our dog back from the vet, I decided to sit in the back of my M3 with the pupper while my wife drove. She proceeded to make fun of how "slow" my car was... but refused to try either M1 or M2.

To this day, she still thinks her X4 M40i is faster.

My wife complains, but my 4-year-old daughter on the other hand, begs me to "go faster" all the time. So I do lots of hard pulls when I'm with her alone. However, she always falls asleep as long as it's in the afternoon no matter how hard I drive e.g. WOT with windows down doesn't wake her up lol

My wife and both daughters (17 and 20 yrs old) complain. So much so that I'm not "allowed" (their words) to start it (even w valves closed) in the garage. I have to put it in neutral and physically push it out of the garage.

I have the Akrapovic full exhaust with a valve controller installed.

In addition, when I offer to drive and take the M3, they all say, No, let's take Moms car (BMW X5). Lol

My wife isnt a fan of my M3 either. She hates going fast and isnt into sports cars whatsoever. My daughters though, 6 and 3, love it and beg me to go fast when I am toting them around. I have to remind them that the police wouldnt like that very much

Anti-Annoying Wife

My wife rocks and is the anti-annoying wife, enjoys the car and even races me in her Camry Hybrid.

True story: I bought a CBR1000RR 2 months before our first Son was born. When I picked it up someone said to me "My wife would kill me if I bought a CBR right before the birth of our child." And I said "You married the wrong girl".

It looks like some of you may have done the same thing.

Wifey loves drives in the mountains in the gutted/caged E30 M3 trackcar. Even clears the fog with a rag on a stick for me when's it's raining.....as long as we end up at a winery or a B&B somewhere she's game.
