Dinantronics x

After doing some research I finally decided to get the Dinantronics X piggyback tune for my F80 M3. I've looked all over for power numbers but still haven't come across the numbers people are getting. Has anyone installed this on their cars? any info would be great! Thanks!

Not worth the money for the gains you would be better off with a JB4 for piggy or bm3.

What are the gains? Its a pain to get JB4 because California banned it. I had BM3, but wasn’t a fan.

Didn't know they were local to socal. Ill check them out too. Do you know the power gains for their stage 1 piggy back?

if you want a legit Dinan tune go with Carbahn, Steve Dinan's current company. Its a flash tune and good power. Very happy with mine. I had a Dinan piggy back (installed by previous owner) which was very inconsistent and weak.

I have a DINAN stage three unit for sale If you’re interested and I can ship, you can switch between three stages from your phone, it’s used. This unit does post horsepower numbers.

BM3 + Cary Jordan custom tune. Makes a world of a difference in terms of drivability.

I personally had terrible cold starts and start ups with the dinan tune. I changed coils and sparks and it still lingered, swapped to bm3 and havent had a faulty start up since. Love the dinan brand, the tune is not worth the $ or headaches.

Dinan stage II + intake is almost dead even with a stock M4CS. Would say it nets a max of 40 crank HP.
