Cheap but worth it mod list

Is this a list that people would be interested in seeing? Thinking listing GOOD worthwhile, inexpensive mods that others may not know about or you’ve discovered on your own etc.

This is pretty known, but BimmerCode is an excellent cheap tool that allows you to do so much with this platform.
Code different traction, turn off ambers, seatbelt chimes, tons of stuff

It could be coding

Also, “$100” is a ballpark, maybe $250 and under is more realistic 😂.

Good example would be the shifter bushing I just got from turner MS for my 6MT, $101, huge difference in shifting accuracy

Idea is to compile a list of inexpensive mods.

I always find myself wanting to fiddle with stuff in between big mod projects.

It could be anything, even like, swapping some bolts for titanium ones (I did this when I did my diff bushings).

Door handle covers, take 4 seconds to install with no tools and fit perfectly, my driver's side door handle material started to break down causing a sticky handle, these were the easiest remedy to the problem

Teflon taping the door frames. Other rattle fixes as well. Easy things to fix, for the most part, and make the car feel a lot more solid as you get rid of rattles and squeaks you may not have noticed, in addition to the obvious ones.

Damnit I wish I knew these existed 2 weeks ago. I marred my inner door handle when taking things apart to install my Bavsound kit. I’m OCD, so you know I ordered a new handle. PSA- A new handle requires taking the panel off, drilling out some plastic rivets, and then screwing it in from the back of the door card. Not hard at all, but way more of a PITA than just slapping these covers over it. Next time!

The GTS /CS coding offered by kubax86 is an absolute must for DCT and EDC cars and can be had for an extremely reasonable price.

Hey just to bump this thread and to let you guys know, I am working on a prototype right now for (actual!) carbon fiber door handles (handmade by me

), not the cheap plastic print like this link has.

I plan to have them up for sale in a week or so, and they will have their own dedicated marketplace listing. Feel free to PM me for more info or if you are interested!
