I posted a WTB BM3 license and he reached out. F82beamer had a bunch of posts, sold things on here before and looks like he bought things here as well.

Felt pretty good about it, talked via text and I sent the money for it. He sent a message back saying it was transferred. I waited a bit and nothing. Reached out to ProTuningFreaks and they confirmed it...

Shitty fucking people

There is his number 831-247-6681 feel free to ruin his day.

Looks like he went to a few shops local to him. I'm going to reach out to them and see if they can get me his address.

No Venmo, i know I am fucked, looked over his venmo messages and it wasn't a new or dead account. I have reached out the them already to see what they can do as well as my bank.

Out of curiosity, not to derail the thread, what’s the price differential between new and used bm3 licenses? Stuff like this makes me concerned about buying a used license and wonder if it’s even worth it.

Take it from me, not worth it to buy BM3 used or any key in the forums for that matter. Buy from authorized distributors only. I got scammed too buying a "new" license. I got caught in a pretty substantial ring of BM3 black listed licenses. These jerkos would buy legitimate keys from an AD on their own credit cards, send you what is a legitimate key that they just purchased and then do a charge back on their credit card after some time has passed which in turn would make your license invalid. They pocket the money back and leave you keyless/tuneless/bm3less. My dumbass paid friends and family to save a couple bucks.....lesson learned.

I had someone reach out to me via email saying they were selling a used license, luckily I only got as far as asking them to send me a Paypal invoice and then they went ghost. I quickly learned that it is not worth the fucking hassle. @ $350 for a used license and $50.00 for an OTS map you are up to $400 bucks. I paid $500.000 for a NEW license from a Vendor here and the transaction took minutes. I wish I would have listened to others sooner rather than going back and forth for a used license.
