Blue Start Button in my M3

I was always curious to see if the blue button from an F10 M5 fits in the M3 - the good news is that it does!

See photos and video below. I think it flows nicely with my yas-marina and the V2 steering wheel.

Did you have to purchase the entire button assembly? How much was it?

Got it, thanks. So it is an aftermarket part.

Based on your title, I thought you fitted the OEM part.

Love how the blue start button coordinates well with all the blue BMW hues and the M Performance accents!

The chrome bezel is a nice touch also

Good point - it's the aftermarket option for the F10 M5 that I got from IND.

Nice match on the color. I'm doing this subtle mod next, but in red to match my Sakhir interior. Great improvement in the sound quality of the video as well. Enjoyed it.

IND website has it at $39.95, not $32. Am I missing something?

Yep looking good and I prefer the black bezel too as opposed to the chrome options.

Thanks gents - simple mod but super cool!

Here is the URL for the button. The IND guys are amazing to work with.

I honestly prefer the standard black button, the blue pops out a fair bit in my opinion.

It's $5 more. 1st one is F10, second f80.

The second one is also just a button. It says "polar blue". The one you got says blue. My '18 YMB is arriving next month so I was contemplating getting the blue button along with some other stuff from IND.
