Exhaust Valve Delete Kit
Hi everyone,
Does the exhaust valve delete kit exist in the market now? I found the JRC but I don't think they are making it anymore. I have a MPE and it seems like the valve rattles when it is closed (cold start). I want the valve to stay open all the time. Any suggestions? Please Thanks |

Start the car and put it in sport plus mode. When you hear the valves open and exhaust note change. Turn off the car and unplug both exhaust valve plugs. Wrap the plugs up I'm electrical tape and tuck them away. You valves will now be in the open position at all times and modes.

Yup no lights, but it does show a code if you scan for codes.

+2 on that, should be a factory option IMO.

While waiting for your remote kit go ahead and try it with valves unplugged while open. It'll give you a feel for always-open and you might like it. I run always-open and my foot learned how to drive quietly when needed. You can avoid any codes by using the BMW resistor plug, and the DME will think the actuators are still plugged in. Always cover open connectors and plugs, I cut fingers off latex gloves and zip-tie them snug.
