And in a year people will tell that you should have bought the Alfa Giulia and a year later a new Lexus and a year later another Porsche and a year later the new M4.

Andrew is it possible to buy just the titanium M tips (non cf) and fit these to standard muffler. Cost?
Agreed! You would think an M car would already come from the factory with M Performance exhaust.

Having to upgrade our Ms with M performance parts is a bit of an oxymoron if you ask me.

Nice job BMW for sucking us in, on this one!

Hi guys
Am in the waiting zone on an m3 order with nov build
For those that have the Mpe some advice please. I want a deep start up sound but don't want to necessarily wake the neighbourhood. It does not have to be loud commuting around town in efficient mode but when I want to put the boot in I want too have some theatre and a big smile on my face.
Do I go straight to Mpe or start with stock
Cheers

No not really. My point is that a GT4 is much more suited as a track car than a M4.

Yes and the first deliveries of the GT4 were almost a year after the release of the M4. Exactly my point, you cannot keep waiting on possible better cars because then nobody would buy any car as they are waiting for the next "best" thing.

My preferred car would have been the M2 but since Australian release won't be until January 2017 I decided to try the M4 till then

My wife is going crazy, she asks me at least once a week when is the M2 released, when is the M2 released
She thinks just because we put a deposit down we will get it sooner

You mean we won't see them in till March/April 2016?

And yes, you will get the car earlier with a deposit and sitting in the queue, before others who aren't in the queue or those like me waiting for the inevitable gauging on the first orders to abate (wishful thinking perhaps on my part)

BMW Australia has confirmed a January 2017 last week with the latest from Germany. Factory has had to put production of the M2 back again... 3 weeks ago it was looking like a mid next year release but sadly this is no longer the case

I hope your dates come true though

That is interesting information. Did you dealer tell you that? I don't think it's correct!

No my dealer doesn't know wha't going on anymore. It was BMW Australia who said this when they called me last week about the compensation package for the M4 devaluation
