I absolutely love my M4!
I just cant stop being giddy like a child on Christmas Eve whenever I get inside this car. Before the M4 I came from a F30 328i and in the beginning couple years I was in love but after 6 years I was longing for something a bit better to say the least. I dont know what got into my head but I was bored and happened to look for M4 for sale and bam, I'm a month into ownership.
I've been on this forum for years as an F30 owner but never in my life I would of thought I would be part of the F82 club. Like seriously, to me it's a blessing to drive this car and own it. The power is absolutely amazing, I have to stop myself from enjoying the speed of the car here Illinois because the cops are Dbags once you go 10 over the limit. But this car just wants you to push it to the limit and oh God it's so hard to have self control on back roads. Anyways here's a pic of my mostly stock M4 and just a big thank you to this community, because if it wasn't for you guys I would of never got a BMW let alone an ///M. Edit: sorry for the picture cant seem to figure out how to rotate it on my phone and upload so it stays level😅 |

I agree 100%, it's a super special car and is just GORGEOUS. I don't know how BMW can improve on the design, about the only thing I'd change are the rear hips from the M3. Hope you enjoy it for years to come!

Thats the thing, if BMW puts huge grills on the next M cars which they probably will, I'm not sure I will be such a fan.

The experience: The M4 is such a joy to drive. Just this evening I picked up some takeout and could have been home in 5 mins with piping hot food, but just as I approached my exit I weighed hot takeout vs another 15 mins of drive time. Skipped my exit and took the twisty way home. On the grille size: the new 7 series front end is atrocious, and sadly the X7's is no better. Kinda reminds me of how the "Bangle butt" ruined several otherwise nice silhouettes a while back, only this time it's the nose that's come down with the affliction. : |

Right there with you! I've had several e46 coupes and spent 4 years with an F30 328i Msport before finding my M4 (or maybe she found me? lol). Hell, just walking out into the garage to do something gives me that giddy feeling. Just looking at it sitting there, let alone driving it! Absolutely love it.
Congrats on the car, it's gorgeous!

Congrats! I feel the same way about mines. I was staring at it yesterday when I was getting something from my garage. I love washing and keeping it clean.
