Snow Performance Water/Meth Install. Found a good place for the VC-50 Controller.

I'm in the process of installing my Snow Performance Stage 2.5 Water/Meth kit and I've been having a really tough time finding a place for the 52mm VC-50 controller. I wanted a clean install and didn't want it to stick out like a sore thumb.

Just a heads up, I think I found a great place for it... behind the cupholders right where the old 12V outlet used to be. The great thing about the location is I can still close the lid and the gauge is completely hidden. Keep the lid open when you want full access to it. This should work for any gauge as well.

The water/meth setup will be full 4AN SS braided lines, two #5 nozzles one in the charge pipe and one in the Evolution Racewerks J pipe. I'm waiting on my BMS stealth tank from XPH to arrive to finish the install. In the meantime, I've been stocking up on Meth.

I will update this post after I get everything installed with more pics!

That's awesome, I was in the same boat on where I wanted to mount my gauge also. Pretty much running the same set up. Was that part of the center console hard to remove?

Nice! I put mine in the glove box so its out of sight and I rarely even look at it anymore. Kind of a set it and forget it thing but being able to check digital boost display is convenient when you switch tunes or troubleshooting etc. That’s a shitload of meth hahaha

Awesome. I have the same kit. I installed the controller in the door to the left of the steering wheel. Similar idea, just on the other side. Couldnt reallly find another use for that little cubby Nice, clean install you did

I also rarely, if ever, look at it.

Yeah it would have been nice to have that little cubby but I have the full suite of drivers assistance so no cubby for me.

Had a hard time looking for location and gauge pods for the VC-50 controller also. I do not have the cubby either, installer made some adjustments.

I actually bought a gauge pod vent just like that as well LOL. It's currently still in transit but I got impatient and found a new location.

This is what I bought.

Where did you order the gauge pod vent? I couldn’t find one, ECS has one that is 45mm (will not fit).

Installer had to modify my vent.

I really like the tank installed in the stock GTS position! How big is it?

What safeguard are you running if/when the meth runs out? What are you using to control the boost/timing reduction as a failsafe?

Looks great! If you've got the time, the braided parts list would be a great help to a lot of us. I'll be installing my setup this summer after I get my crank hub done for preventative maintenance.

For the braided lines on the Stealth tank, you will need a 1/4 NPT to 4-AN fitting. This was what I purchased below.
