In US trim, the M4cs is probably a bit lighter than the M4GTS.

In Euro trim, AMS weighed their supertest GTS at 1601kg (with the lightweight Euro carbon race seats) and their CS at 1600kg (with manual seats and CCB).

For what it's worth the CS sounds okay stock, but compared to my previous base M3 with MPE, it just wasn't aggressive enough despite the burbles. The MPE on the CS sounds much nicer than the MPE on a base F8X and I think it should have come with it standard.

Has anybody had any issues with the iDrive shuffling their playlist every time you select a new album, playlist or chart?

This was never an issue on my 2017 F80 but on the CS, all my playlists, top charts, albums will shuffle when I select a new song. I will turn the shuffle option off on both iDrive and google play music which is the primary app i use for audio but the next song i select, shuffle becomes enabled again...

This is a very minor issue but it still annoys me

Someone here explained it as a attempt to keep the rear passengers cooler by shielding them from the sun since they took away rear ventilation. I have no idea how much the dual zone climate control and extra ducting weigh, hopefully the engineers did the math!

And one of the few stripper CS specs - no shades, HUD or PDC .... but looks like you did get the up spec LED lights - NICE!!

Agreed - why BMW on the sunshades - just tint the car - lighter and better looking.

Shades were part of Exec Pack, u could de-select the option but had to give up HUD and LEDs.

Is this a no Exec Pack car?

Seems a few no Exec Pack cars have popped up that have come fitted with the upgraded LED lights that were part of the Exec Pack. A nice freebie thrown in by BMW.

Any other CS owners out there end up with that combo?

Hmmm, as far as I know, there is only one options package in the US, which is the Executive Package. And look closely at the pic, he also has the PDC dots on the bumper. So if he's got the icon headlights and PDC, it also means he's got the whole shabang of options (HUD, PDC, icon LED, HBA, SLI, rear and side sunshades).

IMO, if it's a US car and it has the icon headlights, it has to have the Exec Pack.
