Turner Motorsport oil cooler guard users, question...

Was wondering if anyone is using any type of wire mesh to cover the openings? Thinking this would be a good idea considering the openings are as large as teh OEM piece. Thanks in advance

I have it and I don’t think you will need it. I doubt something is gonna go under the car and then directly up to the oil cooler. Plus the skid plate is pretty robust that it should knock things out of the way.

Also what happens if the mesh ends up poking the cooler?
