We are also installing a meth kit. Last night, the car feels equally fast at 20 psi with the Stage 2 turbos compared to 24 psi with stock turbos. So the turbos are working very well and the car is running very efficient. Of course this is just how it feels, we are not making any power claims. We have not put it on the dyno yet. We should have it on the dyno this week. The turbos are making full boost about 3000 rpm. So they spool very nicely. They are spooling faster than we expected actually. The car is louder, and you can hear more fancy turbo sounds. We love it. All good news so far, more updates will follow as we progress.

Thanks for your time,
-PURE
Sounds great cant wait to see full resuts.

What are you guys using to tune the car during testing?

Hey guys,

We had a quick chance to jump on the dyno. We went and messed around on our buddy Dardan's dynapack dyno tonight. We just got back.

We made 568whp at 23 to 24 psi with 100 octane unleaded and NO meth (new record?).

We have catless downpipes. We still have the stock exhaust system (with rear cats). Stock air filters.

We have used this dyno a lot. It always reads about the same as the local mustang dyno we also use often.

This is the beginning stages of tuning. Much more to come. We have a meth kit we are installing. Exhaust and maybe some filters soon too.

Eventually when we get further with the tuning, we would like to strap it to one of the dynojets the other M3/M4's have used for a good comparison.

Thanks!

Yes I do believe it is a new record. EAS put down 559whp on stock turbos, downpipes, akra exhaust, bmc filters, 100 octane (but on their dynojet).

Head over the EAS dynojet, your numbers will go up.

I know its just an assumption but if the dynapack Pure used reads 5-10% lower than the EAS dynojet, 568whp could turn into ~600-630whp.

If they can get the other mods on and head over to dynojet. We could very well see 600whp+.

Plus EAS's M4 boosted up to 28psi peak and settled down to about 26psi to redline. Pure's only boosting 23-24psi, maybe there is some room there as well?

Also very interested to see where the peak power is, EAS's M4 had the 559whp peak at about 5000rpm, if the Pure turbos peak power is pushed out to 6000 or more then more area under the curve means better performance as well

559 on the stock turbos is impressive.

That dynapack may read high compared to dynojet, I really don't know. Today the tires broke loose in 3rd with a roll on. It feels like it's making good power. We are looking forward to more testing.

No, dynojets are usually the higher reading dynos. If you want to put down some flashy numbers, that is where to do it.

Pure - nice work.

This may be a game changer for me. I need a car to pull hard all the way to fuel cutoff and these turbos could do it. That AND I want a linear powerband so incorporating with Terry's custom boost profile map may be something to get me to change platforms.

Excited to hear about further development.

No joke. Hmmm, let me think... $5,000 exhaust 20'ish HP. $5000 turbo upgrade, eleventy billion HP on factory exhaust. This will be a game changer for a lot of people.
