Exhaust Tips?

Do we have any other option for 90mm or bigger exhaust tips besides Vorsteiner for the stock system?

I believe there's only Vorsteiner and IND, at this time. IND is just the stock tips in black (76mm).

Cyba sells a bunch of different tips on bimmerpost.

He ranges from 3.5" to 3.8" and even 4" with CF, black, and silver.

I think it corresponds to roughly 89mm, 96.5mm and 101mm respectively. Just search for his threads. They might fit.

I'm trying to avoid paying $500+ for exhaust tips. I'm sure many on here will call me cheap but it's OK.

I haven't looked into Cyba yet but I will. Once my car gets here I'll measure the OD of the stock pipe and see if anything I find online will fit.

Back up plan is to have the stocks powder coated black.

I agree. I got some dual Cyba tips in black chrome for 150 I think for my 328. They still look great after two years.

I bet a set of 4 of the 3.8" would run 250 or so.

I pm'd Cyba to see if he offers any. I just want a cheap quick fix while I run a downpipe on the car, somewhere down the line I will want to change the exhaust so spending 600$ on black tips just doesn't make any sense.

He should have something for you! Keep us posted. I've never heard a bad thing about his tips.

I'd like to get bigger tips but in the meantime I took my stock tips off and had them powdercoated black for $10 each.

I must be cheap, too . When a catback exhaust can be had for a Camaro or Mustang for $1,000, $500 is just stupid money for only tips (even considering the BMW tax we all pay).
