Absolutely.

If you deserved the note you need to atone. Immediately trade the M4 in on a mediocre car (you must make sure that it is universally recognized as being mediocre) that has low payments.

Then find out who it was that was playing Santa and left the note in your desk and stick some limburger cheese up the tailpipe of his/her car.
