Use the production number on the BMW site to get the production status page. Once you see that, right click and choose "show source" (in chrome, others are similar.). Search source for "vin_7" and there is the last 7 of your vin. Then go to the BMW vin decoder and punch in that last 7 and it will spit out the full vin.

Or, more simply, call BMW Genius or your dealer and they will tell you what it is.

I'll be in a meeting all day and that precludes me from being able to call the genius line for an update (no updates in 5 days an I'm due). If someone calls early this morning, can you report back to the thread if the tracking tool is functioning again? It's been down since Sunday evening. I can check the forum with minimal disruption to my peers so a quick note here would be greatly appreciated.

I dont know. I went right to the WW site this morning. Go here and plug in your VIN. If you are on the same ship it will show up now. I tried last night and it didn't show up but did this morning. If you don't have time, give me your VIN and I'll check for you.

I checked about 10 minutes ago with no results. I just need Genius tracking to get their fucking shit together so I can atleast check if there's shipping info. 2 days out of service is pretty pathetic for a company with the resources of BMW.

Agreed 100%. I got tired of hearing the same old shit from them. Very frustrating to say the least. There is another WW ship going out to Baltimore tomorrow that gets there (Balt) on 11/3...just one day later than the Fedora. Don't be surprised if you punch the VIN into the WW site later today and you see that your car is on it. Just checking -- are you entering your VIN in the "Cargo ID" area of the website?

Yes sir. What was your official production date? Mine is listed as 10/14 and arrived at port 5 days ago. Let's hope I catch tomorrow's ride.

It's the Fidelio I believe? Otherwise I'll most likely catch Independence II in 2 weeks and I'm going to be frustrated.
