Wireless Charging overheats the phine

I have an iPhone 12 and I tried using the wireless charging that's installed in the centre arm console (F82/M4).

My phone gets really hot and it barely charged.

Does anyone else experienced this? Do I have a defected wireless charging unit on my car?

My 12 gets hot as well but it does seem to charge OK>

+ 1 - It is useless & I am debating whether or not to remove it.

QQ - Are you using Apple or a magsafe compatible product?
