OEM Wheels (is there a way to tell real from fake)

Hi,

Im thinking about purchasing a used set of 666M's, is there a way that you can tell if a set of 666M's are OEM or if they're reps? Is there a bmw stamp or something of sorts for me to tell that its a real wheel vs a fake?

Hmm bring a scale and weigh them, see if they match the spec? The genuine ones are forged, any knock-offs are bound to be cast.

All OEM 666 wheels are made by Fuchs, there should be a small fox head somewhere stamped on the inside near size/dimensions of the wheel.

You should see oem bmw part numbers embedded as well.

Garage List
2017 BMW M3  [10.00]
2020 BMW X7  [0.00]
2019 BMW X3  [0.00]
2009 BMW 128i  [0.00]
You should also see a BMW stamp on them as well. The “BMW”, part number, and wheel size/spec, should be on the inside of the wheel where the wheel would mate to the hub (not the hub surface)…

And mine are for sale BTW……
