New 2015 M4

I picked up my new M4 in Macon, GA yesterday. The dealer didn't have any info on any of the mods done. It has painted reflectors and an AWE Tuning exhaust but I don't know which one. I'm not sure about the spoiler and I'm pretty sure the wheels are aftermarket. Any help would be appreciated. I'll be sure and post better pictures as soon as I can.

I appreciate it. The only markings I saw were an illegible (to me) script and forged + on the lip. I sold my only BMW 7 or 8 years ago and haven't kept up with any of the brands since.

Nice car, look like Brixton’s to me maybe? Brixton Forged RF10? If so not a bad set, I think they retail for around $2,700 or so.

I’d try to get the headlight/taillight tint off though. Those kind of make an expensive car look cheap in my opinion. Welcome to the group, you bought a great car!

I do believe you're right on the wheels being Brixton.

Congrats and welcome! The paint looks really good.

Looks like it has a lower ride height than stock

Pics of the engine bay and springs could help with figuring out what's installed.

Also, post pic of the Sport Dials so we can gauge if past tuning happened (a raised HP and lb-ft range suggests a car has been)

I thought it looked a little lower but I didn't have another M4 to compare it to. I'll get more pics tomorrow and post them up. If there's anybody in the Savannah, GA area I'm down for a meetup to BS and get some pics.

Has painted red calipers, blue or gold are OEM and aftermarket exhaust tips (or maybe they just came with the AWE exhaust)

I'd get the headlight & tail light tint off, ASAP. Especially the headlights look soo ghetto imo

I knew about the calipers but it slipped my mind. The start/stop button was replaced with a red one. Not sure if the red brace you can see through the grill is stock or not. Got some engine bay pics and the gauge pics as requested.

I believe your car was/is tuned because I don't remember the stock HP gauges going that high up. looks like an oil catch can is installed too. agree with earlier statement about some type of suspension mod as the ride height looks lower than stock. likely springs that were installed. take some pics if you can from underneath

Thanks man. From what I've learned from somebody that knew the car in a previous life, it was pretty stock with the main performance mods being the exhaust and he wasn't sure if it was tuned. I'm thinking the tune was removed before I got it but I don't have access to another m4 to try and find out. It feels quick but I'm assuming a tune would make it a whole new animal.

I'm pretty sure my car is stock. This is what my display looks like.

I think it's tune only. I don't recall seeing that in Bimmerlink or BimmerCode.

Better answer than what I had lol
I took it to:
We can add hp with tunes but also hardware like different turbos, exhausts, intakes, etc

Y'all are killing me over here lol. Eventually I want to replace the cracked shifter knob which is pretty common from what I've read and has to be replaced as a whole unit not just the clear piece that actually cracked. Any recommendations on carbon fiber mirror caps that will match the roof as closely as possible? I'm trying to pacify myself with cosmetic stuff for the time being before I start adding power.

Check out Tom@EAS and he can get you the CF pieced for the mirror and the shifter. Recommend BMW OEM pieces but have aftermarket ones to but according to them the BMW OEM ones last longer especially UV protection and match the OEM weave on the roof best. Nice car though. Agree remove the headlight/taillight tint tho...wheels are nice!

I grabbed a new stock shifter and silver surround from the forum and should get them tomorrow since USPS wouldn't deliver them yesterday because my dog was outside. I'm leaning toward upgrading the iDrive screen first since I can't do much with mine since it's a 15. I've read a couple threads discussing the X5/X6 screen instead of an Android based screen and the BMW screens aren't terribly expensive.

Any ideas or threads on removing the tint? I'm more okay with the tails than the head lights especially since it gets dark so early now.
