275/30R20 rubbing on 9.5 ET22
I've done my homework and just about everyone says running this setup on an M4 (not an M3) is a rub free fitment. For some reason, I am rubbing the front and back fender liners on the front wheels on both sides (with the passenger side being worse). I will likely have to take a heat gun to the fender liners and add some camber, but was curious if anyone had ran into this issue before. Running about -1.8° of camber up front. Also, the tires are MPSS. Pictures are of the driver side. Thanks in advance!

275/30/20 especially in Michelin PSS / PS4S is pretty hit or miss on this chassis in the front. It's too close, the rubbing will be slight in most cases. I rub slightly on heavy canyon runs but on a 20x10 265/30/20 front with PS4S. You can try using heat gun to heat up and push back the liners, but in my experience, didn't help much as the liner has something behind it that stops you from pushing back far enough.

IF YOU ARE RUBBING on both the outside and inner wheel wells, then you would have to go down to 265/30 tires (as mentioned) to help stretch the tire and reduce overall diameter, and round over "corners" more,
275 width would probably be better on a 19x9.5ET22. The image is from "Wheel-size.com" calculator based on what you said, idk if that helps. maybe Im behind the eight ball. like i said, trying to help. |
