Your friend's is probably Glacier Silver. BMW probably has used a couple dozen slightly different silver colors over the years.

I bet you're right.
So there's definitely a blue hue on this car. Bummer. Tend to prefer a traditional silver.

unless your friend's 335i had individual color option, it does not have Silverstone. Silverstone is exclusive to M cars.

I prefer a warmer silver as well, but given the dearth of good colors, and because I'm tired of white, I'm going with it.

That may have just talked me into taking delivery of the dealer launch car this week. If only it had your black interior instead of silver seats and adaptive suspension. But the price might be right!
How long have you had it?

Both wheels look good! I just am not sold on the blue-hue in other settings.

M4 at 24 Hours of Le Mans. My first time seeing the car in person and it looked awesome.

+1

I did not even consider the silver wheels as I felt the SS exterior with CF roof needed the black wheels. That said, silver looked very classy so it depends on what look you are trying to present.

I thought I read that that the 19 inch rims are forged in a review which seemed like a great deal for the price.

anyone know who makes them for BMW and if they are truly forged?

man SSII is such a classy color

silver or black wheels is a tough decision though.. Black gives an aggressive sporty look while silver gives that classy look...
