I think I saw a VO code somewhere to remove the 250Km/h (155mph) limiter. I'll try to find it again later.
Never done any coding before so no idea which units would need updating

It is the VMAX setting, but after 10 hours, DME is locked, and DEM cannot be changed.

Finally someone posts the true max speed. 167 not 155.

Do do have any other information regarding this?

I assume it would be doable with ESYS as long as I code before the first 10 hours of run time are up.

Thanks!

No other information, sorry. It should be doable just by changing the VMAX setting in DME with E-Sys as soon as you take delivery of the car.

Hey Shawn,

Might be a stupid question but why we we assume the car from creation to delivery wouldn't be on for at least 10 hours? Or is 10 out of Delivery Mode?

It looks like 0xEE should set the top speed to 305km/h (190mph) for VMAX.

It's 10 "Operating Hours", which my thinking is it starts the moment the engine is first fired up.

If you examine DME CAFD's boolean logic, you will find that the VMAX-Codierung executes job 'CBZ_ACT_COND_JOB', which for F10 is the MCD3_CBZActivationCondition javaclass, which in turn contains a BSZlt10h job. I am pretty sure BSZlt = Betriebsstundenzaehler = Operating hours, and 10h = 10 hours.

My car was delivered with about 5 hours on it and I am still under 10, can anybody help me find the vmax setting? I looked under dme and this is about the closest I can find. or do I just need to change unknown to 327?

Even Dinan is stumped apparently for the moment

"The tune does not remove the top speed governor but we are actively working on a potential solution for that problem. Whether or not ultimately it will just be an additional firmware update to the existing box or require an additional cable is yet to be determined."
