Isn’t this correct? I’d like them to do the work to prevent any warranty issues but they’re telling me there is no kit for the CS. Thanks!
IIRC minn19 had a similar issue with his CS. It seems to be an issue in the US where BMW USA does not recognize the MP-HAS for the CS. No such issue in Canada, I even had suspension work done under warranty on my M4cs with MP-HAS. Strange…

Yup, told him that whole sordid tale, thanks for reminding me about my car luck. J/K

I was surprised when he said that he could order it in the US. I thought they’d figured it out, guess not.

- Put in some Akebono brake pads

I did notice once the dust settled that I've got a ticking from engine bay on cold startup, different reports of this in different threads, lifter tick vs loose exhaust cam bolts vs other -- she's got about a month of factory warranty left so have an appt with my local dealer next week. It goes away after a few min and she runs great, so hopefully nothing major. Never had this with my previous F80.

I had the same ticking noise you are describing, only when cold starts and would go away once warmed up. Took into the shop and they did an inspection and found quite a bit of bearing material in the oil filter. Ended up replacing the engine under warranty. I dont remember the exact mileage at that point but it was <30k miles.

We’re good to go now! I have the kit and dealer will install once the car is back from paint correction (which it’s been at for two weeks with a story all on its own hah). I’ve been quietly amassing a mountain of parts while it’s been away.

You do need heat gun or will take a lot of force to pops it open, for f8x is super easy in comparison to g8x. F80x is easy to get to, it located on top of the light and 3 bolts.
It super clean and I got really excited after install it's definitely a head turner when you drive, when the head light on you can still see the yellow ring, doesn't turn the hold head light yellow it just clean solid yellow ring

Yikes. Any findings as to what caused the premature failure?

I miss my halogen DRLs on the E90. The yellow angel eyes were so aggressive-looking.

Looks good!

How'd you get it done?
It's easy enough to do it yourself just need flat head and heat gun. Heat gun may not need it but it's will be easier. I will try to take some pictures later. Correct me if I'm wrong but m4 csl yellow DRL only come on when the headlights turn on? This always on, it just replaced the stock white DRL

Yes, I don’t think you’re allowed to have yellow (or other colored) DRLs when driving in the US. Will you get pulled over for it? No idea lol

If you worry about that you will just turn on the headlights when you see the cop coming from the front, or just turn on the headlights all the time lol

Ok this is how it's done, like I said simple for f8x. The only hard part about this is to take oem out, it's need a lot of force and heating gun may need so it safe the oem one.

Important note make sure to wear thick glove to protect your hand just in case you slip so you don't stab yourselves with screws driver
