Thinking Dahua or Hikvision 4K cameras. Will set you back roughly $169 a camera. Very affordable. I have just started upgrading all of my cameras (nine of them) to 4K.

Curious as to the fps though. Are you running 15 fps, or higher?

In AV I can tell you they were very apparent. Even smaller aftershocks have been noticed by myself and my wife.

I was at work and finished working on a truck and fired it up and the entire truck was shaking and i was like what the hell did the injector or something fail then i realized all the trucks were shaking around me and the ground started to shake a little. This was in Los Angeles.

Yes, 2017. We love it and I plan to build it like the 4Runner further in the background (aslo mine). Sorry for the slow reply. I stopped getting notifications on this thread for some reason.

Sorry, gents. Hate to post and ghost. I stopped getting reply notifications.

I have 4k, 15 fps Lorex cameras, all hard wired/POE. Pretty affordable at that frame rate, but the limitations of 15 fps really show at night. Negligible during the day as you can see. The $169 guess was spot on for one, but the price really depends on how many you buy at once. I have the 4k 150ft color night vision cameras at this link. https://www.lorextechnology.com/4k-s...eras/N-1mnuc3d

The 30FPS long distance night vision cameras I want on the front of the house are $600 each. https://www.lorextechnology.com/4k-s...ra/LNB9272-1-p

It was a pain to install due to having to crawl all through the attic, but I wanted 24/7 local recording and zero maintenance/battery changes. The system is also less vulnerable to power/internet loss since I can just keep the HD on a UPS. Plus those new cameras I want are just plug and play now that it's all wired up.

I thought I spotted a 200 series...my other vehicle is a 2000 Land Cruiser, and I'm pushing 300,000 miles, and still going strong!
