Two versions of the exact same Michelin PS4S tire?

Here's the "normal" tire: https://www.tyrelabelling.eu/EU/2020...250_fcs_en.pdf

And here's the BMW version of the same tire: https://www.tyrelabelling.eu/EU/2020...861_fcs_en.pdf

I bought the 1st, "normal" version, as the rating on wet pavement is better.

Why is the BMW version cheaper and has worse wet rating? Is this typical for brand specific tires?

P.S. Bonus garage pic because I know you guys love that (and so do I)

Regarding price, I don't know why it would be cheaper, possibly supply and demand?

Regarding grip, as the standard version only uses 2 compounds with majority being silica based. I believe it is the predominance of the silica based compound that aids the tire in wet situations over the BMW spec tire.
