My client has one and he will be selling it soon. It only has 6 miles and it's black too, my favorite. Hit me up if you're interested in more details

What kind of service records does the car have? That's a collectors dream right there.

With what you've put into optimization, not sure what you'd find as a suitable replacement. Not to say there aren't awesome alternatives and distractions, but just seems like you'd want to circle back around.

Experience, appearance, dynamics, think GTS is a really tough one to replace. (And that's before perfecting it.)

There was a frozen grey in a different run group at an event last weekend. Man I wanted a drive...

I don't think I could find a suitable replacement either. It's a fantastic car. It still makes me giggle every time I walk into the garage. Half the time I forget why I walked in there because I get distracted by it.

I'm also about 16 years old every time I'm around it. Keeper.

I agree, I don't get time to drive mine much but every time I see it sat in the garage it puts a smile on my face. It's just so special. It would have to be a pretty mighty thing to replace it. Let's see what the new GT3 Touring is like and especially the upcoming 50th Anniversary RS in 2023.

Not sure this is much of an issue for most of us. If I sold my GTS, I would still have three other cars in my garage to use and enjoy. I could easily sit out the craziness in the new/used car market and buy my next toy once things settle in a year or two.

Those will be remarkable for sure, and the use contexts are similar to GTS, but very different driving experiences.

Increasingly it looks to me like the GTS will not be replaceable by an upcoming model. so if you bounce, you're checking out of the GTS driving formula for good. And in my view the pinnacle of "traditional" & aggressive M design as well.

Just did a quick nation wide search on Car Gurus, I'm seeing 11 for sale, ranging from $93,000 to 138,000, the very high priced ones I think are 0 mile models.

The ones with miles on have anywhere from 1600 to just over 10 K.

Looks like I got in at the right time last year. Mines not ultra low miles (currently 7500) but I bought it to drive.

I am currently being tempted by a low mile 2020 Spyder, Talk some sense into me.

those are great cars but quite a bit slower on the street with much lower torque so not as fun imo. the manual feels awesome though, and obv you can drop the top (not much use in the Texas heat tho). also, sounds good with an exhaust. i think 4 of my friends have one lol. they all love it, one has a CGT also and drives the Spyder all the time. but again, to me felt fun but slow, like a grown up Miata. and very expensive for what it is imo. the value factor of the GTS is really hard to beat in Porsche land where everything is to the moon right now.

While I haven't driven a Spyder of any kind I did have a 981 GT4 along side my GTS for a while. As others have pointed out the speed differential is pretty drastic. The GTS is an animal. However, I think they're so radically different driving experiences if you can swing it you'll have a better garage having both of them in it. I'm looking to snag a GT4 soonish again because I miss that car so much. They're just fun which is no bad thing in this day and age.

2 additional private party cars at $90k and $95k on Autotrader, but otherwise, every M4 GTS currently for sale has a 1 at the start of the price.

Wonder what my super high mileage car is worth at this point - $70k to 75k maybe?
Ah man...I had the opportunity to purchase that 1200 mile BS car in CA for 70k last year and I passed only because we were purchasing our first home at the time.

I thought it was the responsible thing to do but seeing the prices now I am beating myself up over it, would have been nice to have enjoyed the car for a year and enjoyed a 40% ROI...
