strut mount longevity?

Do the strut mounts in these vehicles wear out more regularly than other cars? If so, what is the expected longevity?

I have about 75,000 KMs on my car (46K miles) and one of my strut mounts literally fell apart when i pulled out the springs to swap in Eibach ones. I managed to piece together but it now makes noise so I'm going to swap it out.

I read through pretty much this entire subforum on suspension and I found it interesting as to how many times i came across a post where someone had replaced a strut mount.

That's odd. I haven't heard of this issue, nor have experienced it myself. I've had the car since the beginning, and I'm currently at 59,000 miles on the odometer.
