M4 Individual stuck in Germany

Hi

Wondering if anyone on here has there order paused or stuck in Germany.

UK buyer here.

Ordered a new M4 in November time and i was supposed to get delivery for the 5th of March. This was pushed back to 21st of March.

Got a email from the dealership saying that it is stuck in Germany. Been told car has been built.

This is what was sent to me.

"As you may have seen on the news we are currently expecting delays to deliveries and your car is still as status 8100 since the 11th of March.

It seems that every order status under 9605 will experience delays so i will keep you updated on the ETA as i know it."

Anyone on the same boat. lol

That seems to be the norm here. We have a guy who ordered a X3M and it's in the queue to be built but now it's looking like mid-August before it will get built for a September delivery. Hopefully, they get your car to you soon.

I can just image the back-up of orders to be built once the factories re-open. Suspect that Priority 1 orders (customer orders) will be given priority to be built rather than dealer floor stock.

My M4 had just entered the production cue when the Regensburg Plant shut down. Was schedule to be done the last week of April. The last I heard, the plant will be closed until at least the end of April.

My car made it to the US as I was supposed to pick up at PDC in South Carolina. Obviously that was cancelled and the dealership has been working to get the car from Georgia to Massachusetts for me for the last 4 weeks. Last I heard it was in Baltimore. I may get it next week.

My individual M4 was due to be built on what was the last day of production (April 22nd) and i was due to fly out for a personal factory tour to see it being built.

That obviously isn't going to happen now and i was told that production has been put back till May 8th.

I had it confirmed it is still going to be at least the last RHD UK car built and still possibly the last F82 altogether.

Good news is that it will be arriving by 15 of June in England.

Heard that they stopped selling in april time. Back order looks like june and july. Been told by my dealer. it should be here by end of the month.

I was old by my salesman that my cars ETA is 27th July.

8 weeks after June 8th build date seems ridiculous!
