August 16th! Ok, so I'm more of a distant neighbor.
Hey that is great news. I know you have been planning for awhile.

Hey I saw my exact twin about an hour ago! Cheshire Rd and Africa Rd at the 4 way stop. The scary thing is not only does your car look exactly like mine...but you look similar to me too lol!

I know you are on the forum but can't recall your screen name. We should meet up one day.

I'm off of worthington road. Did ED on 7/8, but they screwed it up. I never got the car, they lost the plates. We drove around Europe in a 740i. Now I'm stuck with the diff issue. Who knows when I get my car. Here's some pics anyway. I hope to get it by mid sept. I am doing an HPDE at Mid-Ohio on 10/1.

Finally picked up my M4 in Munich last week!! I have a little over 1000 miles on it now and sadly have to part with it in 2 days hoping that it will make it back in time for 10/15 M school

Contact Alex @ Alpine and he will do it remotely for you. I am in CLE and he did my F80 remotely for me from CA. He will send you a cable to patch into the car with and you are ready to go. His info is here on the boards. PM me if you need his number. Good luck

Thank you. I was able to get most of the coding finished myself. I might be interested in the GTS DCT flash though

He did the GTS tranny flash for me remotely $200.00. I have to admit smoother shifting and much better rev matching. Helps reduce the jerkiness for sure. That was $200.00 well spent. I would contact him for that .

Does anyone in the Columbus area have an M3/M4 with the M Perf Exhaust? I would like to hear it in person to help push me closer to buying it.

Is the GTS tranny coding something that can be done on cars with stock transmission? What does it do?

Not that I'm saying it's not worth the money to have the car coded, but its interesting what different people charge for different aspects of coding that are really just a few mouse clicks. I had a guy do my last one for free and once you understand the program it was pretty simple to do.

Yes it is done on stock tranny. It literally took 10 minutes so it's definitely a few mouse clicks here and there I just don't have any coding experience so for me I pay to have all my coding done so I don't screw anything up experimenting. Basically this smooths out the transmission to be less jerky so to speak. Rev matching is better and clutch locks in firmer it feels like. Definitely an improvement for me with a 2015 build here. Not sure how much improvement your 2017 tranny would see. I'm assuming you already have some tranny programming enhancements and tweaking with your car being new and all. The GTS tranny flash definitely was an improvement for me though and for $200 I think it was well worth the improvement. For what I'm into this car at this point what's another $200?!?!!?
That's a drop in the bucket

My guess is it is akin to people not wanting to change their brake pads because they think they may screw up and will die in a fire ball.

Or why people don't build their own PCs because they think it is too complex and difficult.

In the case of flashing the car they probably don't want to risk it because they are afraid to render it inoperable or break something else.

Hey guys I'm going to be posting in the classified section this weekend. I have a brand new unopened (both boxes still have the tamper evident seal 100% in place) set of Bavsound underwear ghost woofers. I'm going to list them for $400 (they sell new for $500).

If you buy them DO NOT throw away your old woofers like I did. I talked to a guy in here that sold his old woofers for $175! You can see his old ad in the classified section still.

Did you end up selling them? Why didn't you put them in your car?

I have not posted them for sale yet. Still have them. They sent me two sets and I only ordered one. I sent them an email to get an RMA and they told me to keep them.
