Ok I now have the final answer. I just couldn’t get over my car without a lip, so we raised the front some more and I went with the X-PH front splitters and carbon lip (thanks Mike!). In order to save this lip we went conservative on the front and made it 18 rings on the front KWs (it was at 10 lol). So far, zero scrapes over curbs, driveways, or speed bumps so I think I’m good. If I start scraping again we’ll raise it up a couple more notches in front but so far so good. Love the way it looks now!

GrussGott thought you'd enjoy this article, some interesting talk about BMW's EV adaptation and process, as well as some financial analysis in there as well.

Thanks, definitely low but going to keep as is for now unless any issues pop up. Coming from you and your car that's the best compliment I could have, thanks! Hah, she's garaged and never sees rain. Washed every weekend so looking pretty good so far! |

Chris Harris at 4:35 haha. Now at 8:50, wowowowowow.
He's right though, where the heck are these cars? I still haven't seen a single one yet on the road besides mine! Last edited by NickyC; 10-17-2021 at 05:37 PM.. |

Here in the East Bay in Norcal, I've seen maybe 3 since launch. Another 2 at different car meets. To be fair, they are about as rare as F80s. I do see more F80s but that's to be expected.

And, BTW, I see multiple F8x daily: I see them parked on the steets, in driveways, being detailed, and on the road. Just saw a Sakhir Orange in the Walgreens parking lot in Redwood City. A day doesn't go by where I don't see at least one. Now I'm on my third run up the West Coast this year and yet again I've seen X5Ms, M8s, Lambos, Ferraris, McLarens, etc (and oddly a shit ton of Alpha Gs this time - they're all over) but zero G3/8x. An Alpine F8x all modded out cut me off on the freeway. I was cool with it. Anyway, whereever Sedan_Clan is seeing the G8xs, that's about the only place they are because unless people are lying, they're pretty rare. |

Again, you guys have to consider my office is a car that I'm in 10-16 hours a day, literally watching traffic patterns on surface streets and freeways (…when I'm not dealing with the burglaries, robberies, murders, etc.). I see everything….

I saw two of them on the way to work the other day in the span of 1 mile.
Trust me, you don't want to see them on the road. They're even uglier in person... |
