Dashboard leather bubbled/unglued?
Hi, I have the full extended leather dashboard and I noticed that, the leather on top and behind the gauges looks like it got unglued or bubbled up?
Picture will explain it better than me. Anyone seen this before? |

Very common, especially in hot climates. Hope you have a warranty... its about 3500 + labor to replace.

thanks! Nah, it's a 2016 so (no BMW warranty - I only have an aftermarket one) and lived until this year in San Diego so, that explains it. Although it only has 32K miles, looks like the sun there was more than enough. I'll live with it, now it sits in a garage all week and comes out during the non winter weekends here in STL.

Add in windshield tint once it's fixed.

This is scary haha, how many miles on your car? Luckily, the sun isn't too strong where I live but definitely got to lookout for protecting it even more now

+1.
I had the same type of issue on my AMG and Grand Jeep Cherokee (no longer own). Several tint offerings out there…everything from typical film that darkens to "Air" that doesn't change the appearance but adds all the same protection. |
