F82 M4 rear wheel hub

Hi all,

Yesterday I clipped the rear passenger wheel on a high kerb when pulling out of a parking bay, must have been going no faster than 5mph when pulling out.

I'm concerned I may have damaged the wheel hub and tracking etc, is this possible? I get no pulsating feeling when using the brakes and car seems to drive fine but it's playing on my mind.

It’s probably fine, but remove the wheel and inspect the hub for any abnormal play.

Depending on the hit you may have altered the alignment so it would be good to have an alignment done as well!

Thank you, it's odd as I have no scratches or dents on body work or wheel itself, something I thought I would have seen. I'll see if I can get the wheel off tomorrow and inspect the hub.

With what you describe, I wouldn’t worry at all. I wouldn’t even get it checked if it’s not even left a mark. Far more stress will go through it during normal driving.
