Never freaking ends with this car. This isn't something I'd ever buy on my own accord as I generally leave the motors AS-IS, but when selling my CS seats the buyer (super nice guy!) included an Eventuri carbon intake kit as partial trade (I think it's a V1 version, came with the ducting, etc.). I figured I'd try it out and if not super impressed, could always resell it. Install was a breeze, took me about an hour from start to finish. Looking forward to getting it out on the road later tonight as it's been raining. Not looking for anything performance wise but would really like to hear some nice turbo whooshes hopefully.
![]() Yeah, I know I need to clean the engine bay. I've been lax. |

Replaced my left tail light. Even after I drained the water out, the condensation still pretty much killed my left turn signal.
Threw some stickers I had laying around on my diffuser. And installed some paint matched reflectors.

The stock chrome M3 badge on the front of my F80 was damaged, so I replaced it with an aftermarket black badge that I purchased from a member here. The quality is pretty good and we'll see how the tri-color vinyl piece holds up. I like the subtlety of this:

48k miles on original brakes, some how it survived 2 track days and multiple canyon drives and cruises. I guess it time for small upgrade and prepping for up coming track day for Thunder Hill West and Sonoma.

Swapped back to 4” tips and seated them a bit more flush-ish vs the poked out look when I had 3.5” tips. These new tips will still give an aggressive poke after heating up after driving, so best of both worlds.
Adjusted them to fit with enough clearance since the Fancywide diffuser has nuts and bolts to adjust fitment. I forgot that bigger size tips does slightly give more volume. Small but noticeable enough for me. I drove with the backseats down for even more S55 noises 😄

Did my alignment after a month of the car being down for a small grocery list of stuff getting done
had my rear axles upgraded by DSS, differential swapped with lower miles one, Powerflex diff. mount with front and rear purple bushings, rear wheel bearings with the upgraded hubs, new front tension arms with monoballs, Fall-line traction and toe arms/lockout, and lastly changed out my coil packs |
