I equate them to the HTE-R seats. I realized this when I had to pull over and pour my kids chocolate milk from the standard drive thru cup into her kids cup. My OE comp seats were easy to just rotate in with the door open and pour the drink outside of the vehicle. Can't do that in these G80 carbons.

One day though... my kid won't be using kid cups anymore LOL!
No problem and thank you! Yep, getting in/out is certainly an event, hah! I'm going to look into getting those little add-on leather covers from iND for the door sides of the bolsters. I think adding those would take the pounding off of the seat leather from entering/exiting the vehicle.

Loved my HRE R101s, but let's get some HRE P101s in 20" on there! Bought these from a wonderful forum member and the transaction could not have gone better! They are in my favorite finish of all time, brushed dark clear! Not convinced they look better than my R101s, but happy to change things up a bit every now and then. Also have the little iND side bolster protectors (as mentioned above a bit) in matching colors on all four bolsters.

Also, if you are interested in the carbon bucket seat conversion, you MUST get the kit from Eurowerkss They are absolutely fantastic, and Bobby is about the best person to deal with you could ever imagine!

Please follow this link for a detailed writeup on the conversion kit, along with my notes on what it took to get everything working. So glad I did it!
